Our Story
HRP CPAs was founded by Mike Harman, Debra Romboletti, and Nick Patel. It is a full service consulting and accounting firm that serves the greater Las Vegas Valley, as well as clients across the country. With a staff including over twenty professionals and five Certified Public Accountants, HRP is well equipped to handle all of your business and accounting needs. HRP CPAs is led by an expert team with over eighty years of combined accounting experience. These top professionals include the partners Mike Harman, CPA, Debra Romboletti, CPA, and Nick Patel, CPA.
Our firm has a strong background in accounting, consulting, taxes, and attestation services. Our accounting department is proficient in QuickBooks and can be your outsourced bookkeeper. We are also able to train and mentor your staff in bookkeeping and QuickBooks. Consulting services are available to help grow your company and provide analytics to ensure a successful organization.
We also provide the necessary experience and preparation for mergers and acquisitions to help you through due diligence and integration. Tax advisory and compliance is our number one priority with a focus on tax return preparation, IRS assistance, tax planning and strategies, and advisory services. Our private attestation services include audits, reviews, compilations, agreed upon procedures, internal control audits, employee benefit plans, and financial statement analysis.

Michael Harman

Michael Harman, CPA, is a founder and the Managing Partner here at HRP CPAs. With over 25 years of accounting experience, his expertise in the field is unmatched. His background is in business consulting which includes performing outsourced Chief Financial Officer services and various other engagements such as, consulting on mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, systems implementation, and business turnarounds.
As a master in business consulting Michael holds the title of Chief Financial Officer with various companies primarily in Las Vegas. Additionally, he holds the Series 63 and Series 27 securities licenses and serves as the Financial Operations Principal for a Broker-Dealer locally in Las Vegas.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from UNLV. He also benefits as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Turnaround Management Association, and the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has been practicing as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Nevada since 2000.
Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Michael has resided in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1988 where he has held various significant positions in accounting and business consulting.

Debra Romboletti

Originally from Western Massachusetts, Debra held senior accountant positions at two public accounting firms in Western Massachusetts prior to moving to Nevada in 2005. Once moving to Las Vegas she was hired as a staff accountant at a local firm with promotions to Consulting Manager and then Tax Partner.
Debra graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fitchburg State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and earned her Master’s Degree in Accounting-Controllership from Strayer University in 2010, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She has been practicing as a Certified Public Accountant since 2013 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Nevada Society of CPAs.
Her volunteer activities include serving a current two-year term as Treasurer for the Women of the ELCA-Grand Canyon Synod.

Nick Patel
CPA, Founder, Partner
Nick Patel, CPA, is a Founder and Partner here at HRP CPAs. With 15 years in accounting, he uses his wealth of knowledge in the area to continuously benefit our clients.
Nick Patel, CPA, is a Founder and Partner here at HRP CPAs. With 15 years in accounting, he uses his wealth of knowledge in the area to continuously benefit our clients. He plays an important role in forecasting and drafting business plans, as well as tax planning.
Born and raised in India, Nick completed his schooling there gaining his Bachelor’s, then a Master’s in Accounting from Gujarat University. Once getting his degrees he made the move to the United States; first to New Jersey and finally Las Vegas.
Before partnering at HRP CPAs Nick had experience as a staff accountant for four years with promotions to the tax and audit manager at a local accounting firm.
Nick passed the CPA exam in 2012 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Nevada Society for Certified Public Accountants.
